Meet Jake Jansen,

our Chippewa Valley After Hours Rotary President!

Jake is a Charter Member

of the club and has served as

At-Large Board Member, President-Elect Nominee, and President-Elect in the years prior.

Jacob is a Financial Advisor and Owner at Jansen Wealth Management. He is an Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS) and earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance, Marketing, and Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

Outside of the office, Jacob enjoys working out, traveling, and playing golf. He plays in a league at Wild Ridge Golf Course and tries to get out on the course as often as possible. Feel free to join him for a round the next time you're looking to play!

Local Rotary Club packs Thanksgiving meals for 72 local families

November 26, 2019

In 2016, the Chippewa Valley After Hours Rotary Club held its first-ever Thanksgiving meal-packing drive.

 

The tradition continued Tuesday night for its fourth year with club members preparing meals at the Eagles Club in Lake
Hallie.

The meals include turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, and - of course - pie.

 

iFeed Volunteers Pack 30,000 Meals

November 3, 2018

The Interact Clubs of Altoona and Regis High School along with the Chippewa Valley After Hours Rotary Club and other local Rotary clubs of Eau Claire hosted the inaugural iFeed event. 

 

At Altoona High School approximately 300 volunteers packed 30,000 meals and helped collect the 2,178 pounds of food items that were donated. Items were transported to Feed My People for those suffering from food insecurity right here in the Chippewa Valley.

 

Chippewa Valley After Hours Rotary Donates Proceeds from Taste of the Valley

The Chippewa Valley After Hours Rotary Board of Directors recently announced plans for donating proceeds from the Taste of the Valley event from June of 2017. The following organizations were recipients of funds at recent meetings:

 

  • Barnabas Christian Coffee House 

    • $750 credit to Feed My People account for food purchases

    • $250 in kitchen equipment

  • Meals on Wheels Program

    • $1,000 contribution to plumbing improvements in new Fall Creek kitchen to obtain commercial license

  • The Community Table

    • $1,000 to kick off fundraising campaign for new oven

 

Check out next year's Taste of the Valley, scheduled for Sunday, June 2 at Phoenix Park running from 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Your food and beverage purchases will be donated back to hunger relief organizations right here in the Chippewa Valley!
